1 day event
The ultimate team cycling event for all riders—Roadies, MTBers, Gravel Cyclists, and E-bikers! Race on safe gravel and farm roads in teams of five, with at least four finishing to qualify. Non-technical terrain, open roads, and pure riding enjoyment—teamwork and strategy take the lead. Gather your squad and push the pace!

what is the munga squad series?
team event
The Squad series will be a handful of events around the country all between 100km and 130km. The routes will all be fast and furious and will focus on higher quality dirt roads. Unlike our normal events where the roads are typically busted up and broken, and part of the riding experience, the Squad series will showcase the best of South African dirt! The Challenge is simple, get four of your five riders across the line first! You may only lose one rider!
The basics
The Squad races are only open to teams of five.
Race Categories:
- Mixed Teams (at least 2 of two of opposite sex)
- Men
- Ladies
**Note**: At least 10 teams in category to qualify for prizes
**Note**: If you only have 1 person of the opposite sex on your team, you WILL not qualify for ANY prizes as we do not have such a category!

THE RACE ROUTE
Middleburg – The race will start and finish near the ALZU Petro Port Arms close to Middelburg. The route will follow amazing open gravel roads in the Middelburg District.

Usually, entries close about a month or so before the start of the race.

Potentially, but the Race Rules require the Team to self navigate with a GPS Device. It is a GPS Route.

No
