where the Munga journey begins.

The Mini Munga exists for one reason. To get you ready.

Six free community ride events spread throughout the year, open to every rider at every level. Train for your first Grit. Prepare for the full Munga. Or simply come out and ride with the community that makes these events what they are.

No entry fee. No barriers. Just the road and the people who love it.

Six events. All free. All yours.

six rides. two landscapes. two formats.

Six free community rides spread across Gauteng and the Western Cape throughout the year. Day rides and night rides. Red dust roads and misty mountain passes. Early morning starts and headlights in the dark. Each one a different experience, each one bringing the same community together around the same shared love for riding.

Some rides take you out into wide open Gauteng farmland where the horizon goes on forever. Others wind through the Western Cape with mountains above you and vineyards either side. The night rides give you a taste of something the Munga knows well — what it feels like to keep going when the sun goes down and only your front light shows you the way.

The Dust of the North West

The Dust of the North West The North West doesn’t welcome you. It measures you. The roads stretch towards the horizon in endless ribbons of gravel, daring you to believe the next rise is the last one. It never is. By midday your legs are the colour of the earth. By...
